Those are since initial installation?
Is there a non-hacking way to reset them on the fly?

Yes, I believe these are the stats since you have installed the brave browser, and no I have looked all through the settings and does seem to be an option to reset these stats. Though, obviously it has a button to where you can hide the stats.
You could go to feature requests and add it to the list? Not sure why you would want to reset them exactly, but to each their own.
