Hi, i received crypto from scam i didn’t know it that was a scam now i would like to close the wallet and delete alla things also brave account but i cannot when i try to reset the wallet and i wrote yes anything is changed. Could someone help me please to resolve this problem?.
Hello - Did you type in Yes with a capital Y? That is required in order to reset the wallet.

@Mauro.kk and @Evan123 can you check if it’s because of the lettering? Looking at the screenshot it seems Brave has it for Sì but the text being entered by @Mauro.kk is Si.
The difference here would be in the i used, the mark over it to be specific.
@Mauro.kk if you copy/paste what I just wrote, I’m thinking it should work. So do Sì
Not pulling old device to test myself, but is what I have noticed. And since we know it was very picky about uppercase vs lowercase, I’m assuming it’s going to be picky about that dumb ì

Darn, ok Was hoping simple “logic” based on how picky it has been might work. At least it seems they are looking into it.
Well, I guess in the meanwhile you could try a workaround I think should work.
If you go to Brave’s Settings → Languages → Brave’s Language and change it to English, it will have you relaunch Brave. Doing that will present you with everything in English. You should be able to go back to the reset wallet and use prompt with Yes instead and likely clear it.
Then you’d just go back to Italian for your language.

I have some funds on BraveWallet, but I am not able to transfer them to another one so to send to my bank account. Sorry to disturb you, but I don’t know how to do, also because it ask me to deposit 10000 even if I have it in. I’m italian.

Hi Carla i deleted my wallet because it was a scam so I advice you don’t put money on wallet when they ask you. Cancella tutto come ho fatto io se sei nella mia stessa situazione.
