Problem open e-mail links

Version 1.46.134 Chromium: 108.0.5359.94 (Officiell version) (64 bitar)

Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

Thunderbird 102.4.2

When clicking an e-mail link on any website I get a “popup” saying "open XDG app and then noting (Thunderbird do not get a request for opening a new mail for writing/sending

Works out of the box with Chome but not in Brave.

I guess I miss some settings or is there a problem with Brave and Thunderbird communication ?

I would be happy for any help in the matter to solve this anoying thing.

Could you first try updating to the latest version of Brave 1.46.140 and let me know if that resolves the issue?

Would you mind clarifying whether or not Brave is set as your default browser? Additionally, while you may not be able to test this, if you click a link in other apps do they open in Brave?

Yes Brave is the default browser and if I click a link in Firebbird it opens brave and the webpage the link pointing to. But If I click the E-mail link on the same page Firebird do not open a new empty e-mail tro write in.
Just a requester pops up with "Open XDG app"s question. If I choose Yes nothing happends.

And Now I also have updated Brave to it’s latest version for Linux (Ubuntu) bot the problem persists.

Wondering if you have Firebird set as your default email handler in Brave?
