Description of the issue:
Brave browser doesn’t remember print quality setting and also is not using Windows printer preferences quality setting
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Printer preferences quality set to 600dpi using Windows Settings app.
- Open Brave browser and print a page, Under print dialog-> More settings however, printer quality shows 300dpi (lowest setting)
- Change quality setting to 600dpi. Print is successful at higher dpi setting.
- However, ‘later’ it reverts back to 300dpi. It does not revert after brave restart or laptop restart so I’m unclear at what point it reverts.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Not applicable
Expected result:
Brave print settings should reflect Windows printer settings and/or remember Brave printer quality settings
Reproduces how often:
Frequently but intermittently (I don’t print hard copies very often).
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave
page in the main menu):
Windows 10 Pro build 1809
Brave Version 0.62.51 Chromium: 73.0.3683.103 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Additional Information:
Is it possible that the printer quality settings are not ‘remebered’ when a Brave update is applied?
