Prezi.com account unable to edit presentation

Description of the issue:
I am unable to edit any presentation at my account on prezi.com. I am able to edit using Chrome browser. Attempts to edit from Brave will consistently generate the “This plugin is not supported” message. The little lock icon reveals FLASH=ALLOWED.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Log into my account at prezi.com
  2. Click on “Edit” for any presentation
  3. Nearly blank page opens showing only an image of puzzle piece above the text “This plugin is not supported”
  4. Ctrl+shift+i reveals that prezi.com uses “application/x-shockwave-flash”

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Expected result:
Should be able to edit full presentation.

Reproduces how often:
100% of attempts

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

  • Windows 10 Home
  • Version 0.64.76 Chromium: 74.0.3729.157 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Other than this, I am very impressed with Brave over the past week.

@revzack,
Thanks for reaching out – I believe that if you click on the puzzle piece, it will ask you to allow or block Flash for the site. Click allow and let the page refresh – if you see the puzzle piece, click it one more time and see if the page renders.

I’ve seen some wonky flash behavior like this where an additional click or two is required before the browser recognizes that Flash is Allowed.

Let me know if this works for you. Additionally, if that doesn’t work, you may want to try disabling Shields and attempting to edit the presentation as well.

Thanks for your help, but that function on that site just doesn’t respond. The puzzle piece doesn’t respond to any type of click. A mouse hover over the puzzle image says “undefined.” I tried the same procedures after disabling Shields for that site.

Prezi is a fun presentation site, but has had some “wonkiness” over the years as it has developed, so I am not too surprised that it has some incompatibility issues. I will keep looking for a solution or workaround and update you if I find anything.
