X-shockwave-flash plugin not supported

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Install Brave for MacOS
  2. Go to http://www.onemorelevel.com/game/taberinos
  3. “This plugin is not supported”

Expected result:
Should be able to activate Flash plugin. Works fine on Chrome for Mac (same machine) and Brave for Windows

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.1.23 Chromium: 79.0.3945.88 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Tried installing Flash player and enabling in Settings, per other support articles. No luck. (There is no “down arrow” in the Mac UI for the control, to start with.)

Try following these exact steps:

  1. Visit the site in question
  2. Click the puzzle piece icon in the address bar, then Run Flash this time
  3. Allow the page to refresh, then click on the player itself where it states Flash is blocked.
  4. Select Allow when prompted, let the page refresh

There is no such puzzle piece on my system. That was the first thing I looked for.

What happens when you click on the player itself?

Nothing at all when clicked. When I right click, the menu indicates it is “x-shockwave-flash”, if that helps.

Other Flash sites I have gone to seem to work as expected.
