My regular everyday visited sites (topsites) disappear even though they are “pinned” and new seldom visited sites are offered as replacements every time Brave updates.
How can this issue be reproduced?

This appears to be a long ongoing issue that has not been resolved at any previous request.
Surely it is not too hard to get the auto update installer to check for pinned topsites and reinstate them after the new installation is performed ?
