Pinned Top Sites keep unpinning and disappearing

Top sites pinned to new tab page just unpin and disappear consistently.

Reproduce issue:
I found at least 4 other posts on here with the same problem and no response in them from the Brave Team.

Expected result:
Acknowledgment that this is an issue that is being addressed?

Version 1.15.76 Chromium: 86.0.4240.111 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Yes I have Sync on (why offer it if I can’t use it or it isn’t going to work?)

Actually, after digging a bit, it appears that we had an open issue to fix this and a fix has already been pushed: I’ve pinged the devs about uplifting the fix to the next browser update – if that does not go through, the fix will work its way through the release pipeline until it hits stable.
