Profile 1 recurs after ever restart of browser. Even after deleting it, placing the icon for my profile on the browser bar at top right. I cannot stop this from happening. I have reset the browser itself numerous times. Additionally, it appears to hamper performance, causing page mis-loads, timeouts, and “unresponsive” pages.
This issue can be repeated with every restart of browser.
I’d like a permanent deletion of “Profile 1”, and the smooth functionality previously had with BRAVE.

Upgraded Chromium to 90.0.4430.212

I would suggest going into your files and deleting it directly:
Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data

Within that folder, you should see the folders Default and Profile. Leave Default and delete the Profile folder.
