Permanent disable block trackers and advertisement not possible?

Hello,

I would like to disable the above mentioned global shields feature permanent. But every time i reboot the browser it enables itself again??

I prefer to disable it, and use umatrix and ublock instead.

Is this by design, or is this a possible glitch?

It is possible, but there is a known bug that clearing Site and Shields Settings resets global Brave Shields settings, so check the following:

  1. Open brave://settings/clearBrowserData.
  2. Click on On exit.
  3. Make sure Site and Shields Settings is not selected.

Thanks. I had Site and Shields Settings on exit enabled.

Now it’s working.
