Description of the issue:
I’ve gone through the forum, some fellow Brave users have previously highlighted this issue and their threads were closed, some found a solution others without one. It was also stated that anyone with similar issue should open a new thread, hence this new post.
ISSUE:
Whether it’s through the context menu by right-clicking the mouse or the CTRL-V key combination, the Paste function just does not work in Facebook on Brave. And this is true regardless of whether the system is on Light or Dark Mode. I’ve just tested both, and it does not Paste at all.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Copy any text from any site.
- Try Pasting the copied text in Facebook like you would in a new post. Try using both the context menu (right-click the mouse) and CTRL-V.
NOTE: It is only in new posts as well as commenting on a post that the Paste function does nothing. Pasting text into the Search field in Facebook works fine.

Both ways of Pasting produce no results.
Expected result:
The copied text should be pasted accordingly using both ways.
