Paramount Plus stating disable ad blocking software

Before the update in Brave, no issues watching it either in browser or app on PC. I can get in via the app, but when I click on a show, it states" This video is unavailable because we were unable to load message from our sponsors. If you are using ad-blocking software, please disable it and reload the page. Error code : 111. Anybody found a way to by pass this?

I tested Showed no warnings so far.

Do you have settings set to strict? If so, you might try setting them to standard one at a time, see if that fixes the solution. Also do you allow any cookies, just block cross-site cookies?

I do have it set to “aggressive”.

That is in the app. Same within the browser as well.

Update, I have identified the problem. It was within my VPN I was using and have disable it when I use Paramount Plus. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Paramountplus stopped working for me. I don’t know when. I get the above screen with error code: 111. I have the shields down. I have given all permissions and I am not running a VPN. But my Android App works. I will have to try one of the other browsers on the PC.

It’s working now. Don’t know why. I occasionally run NordVPN but it wasn’t running at the time. Perhaps the web site somehow detected it? The PC was shutdown since then and I haven’t run the VPN. Paramount+ is working at the moment.

On PC for NordVPN, I found if you disable the threat protection off before watching Paramount Plus, you will be able to view it. I have no issues on mobile to view Paramount plus.
