Pages completely load then disappear

Description of the issue:

I can see the page completely load. Then it disappears and I see a blank white page. At a minimum the page keeps flashing to blank white and then coming back. It can do this a bunch of times.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to a URL. It can be any URL. It cannot be reproduced the same every time.

  2. This is 100% Brave shields. I disabled all extensions. No extensions are enabled.

  3. When shields are down it doesn’t happen.

  4. It can happen on any website, most recently doing a google search.

  5. Even this support page on which I am composing this keeps flashing. I go to another tab to check the version of Brave and come back and it flashes blank a couple of times.

Expected result:

That the page loads and stays loaded. Once it’s loaded, stop messing with it.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.26.77

Additional Information:

El Capitan. Not upgrading OS due to aged hardware. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. I will have to default to shields down which renders Brave unusable.

I just responded to your other thread as well.
Can you tell me what you have your Shields setting set to when you get this behavior(while Shields are up)?
