Now that I know that there is a extension for it, can it install stuff like Opera’s free VPN?

Good question – to be honest I’m not entirely sure. I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work – unless it requires something specific from the Opera browser itself in order to run. Best way to find out would be to simply install and try I think.

Just keep in mind, the “free VPN” is actually is just a proxy. Not a proper VPN service.
