Norton Password Manager not asking to save passwords

When I start a new account with a website Norton Password Manager (NPM) is not asking to save my credentials. NPM is providing credentials for sites that are already saved in the NPM vault. I just can’t add any new credentials.

I have tried restarting the device.
NPM is fully functioning in Firefox and Chrome.

Macbook AIr running OS 12.6.3 Monterey
Brave Version 1.57.53 Chromium: 116.0.5845.114 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Three days later and now Norton is asking to save passwords in Brave. In those three days I updated the OS to 12.6.8 and Norton also seems to have had an update. However, NPM still does not suggest passwords in Brave as it does in other browsers.

Some progress, but still a bit further to go to get to the goal…
