Norton-Brave compatibility issue?

Norton’ s software updater claims that Brave is reaching its end of life and warns users to remove the program.

I have run the Norton software updater multiple times and even though I am up to date with Brave, running on Windows 11 which is also up to date, the warning persists.

This is not necessarily a Brave bug. It may be a Norton bug. I’m not tech savvy and will post a note with them as well, but if it is a Norton issue I thought you’d like to know that they warn users to remove your software.

The Norton software updater warned me to remove the Brave browser on both the current update of Brave and the previous one.

Version 1.52.129 Chromium: 114.0.5735.198 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I’m having exactly the same issue. Brave seems to be updating, as evidenced by the Brave » About dialog, yet Norton Software Updater shows the current Brave version as being at EOL (end-of-life), with an advisement to uninstall Brave.
