No videos working on youtube or vimeo!

I’ve been having major issues with vidoes not playing for days so followed all the other info on others with same problems.

Turned off extensions, cleared cache, reset browser to default and now the issue is worse! I can’t load any films at all from youtube or vimeo. Nothing plays at all.

I’m on latest version of macos and latest version of brave.

So when i click play the playhead turns to pause icon but nothing happens from there at all

you tube completely freezes when i try to load a film so its really bad.

Can you try creating a new test profile and seeing if the issue persists?
Click on the menu icon in the top right corner > create a new profile.

that seems to work, so what do i do with my bookmarks, extensions and also brave and metamask account?

You’re going to keep the same original profile. The next steps would be to try disabling all of your extensions. If that also solves the problem, enable each extension one by one, and see which one is causing the issue.
