No Audio on Videos in Facebook

I’ve been using the Brave Browser for awhile now. It just started not producing any audio when in Facebook. The Brave Browser audio is fine with YouTube or other sites. I can hear audio from Facebook videos fine in Chrome, Firefox, and Avast browsers. I’ve tried the things suggested in other posts, with no success on getting this fixed. I created a new Brave profile, and the Facebook audio works in that one, however, I have my first profile set up the way I want it (except for the missing audio) and I really don’t want to have to try and recreate it all just because there’s a glitch somewhere. If I’m going to have to go through all that work, I’ll just use one of the other browsers, so that the same unexplained glitch doesn’t hit again. UNLESS… someone is able to help me fix the missing Facebook audio glitch. Brave Version 1.15.72 Chromium: 86.0.4240.75 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Issue might be because of an extension clash. When did this start? Did you install any new extension? Could you check by removing all the extensions? after you removed all extensions, add the extensions one by one and check which one is causing this issue.
If that doesn’t work, could you try enabling this?

Thanks for the reply. After not working for the last couple of days, regardless of what I tried, it actually started working again this evening… all on it’s own. I had it open this afternoon, and any videos that anyone posted in Facebook were totally silent in my “profile 1” in Brave, although they were working in “profile 2” and everywhere else. This evening, I hadn’t shut down Brave or Facebook, so nothing even had the chance to “restart,” and my “profile 1” in Brave is again playing the audio. I didn’t change anything when it went away, and I didn’t change anything when it came back… gotta love these computer-things :slight_smile: .

when that happen again in your main profile try to click on the lock icon on the address bar and see what the permission that facebook have thier
