@mikecuong this only happens after you input the login credentials? I was trying to look into things to see if I can replicate or help come up with a solution, but with there not being a way to create an account and it requiring a school username and password, it’s not easy to check.
That said, I do want to verify that after you put in that custom filter that you do indeed have Shields enabled for the website. I’m only asking because I recently had another topic where people said they tried the filter and it didn’t work, but then later revealed they didn’t turn Shields on. Once they did that, it worked as expected.
Two other questions I’d like to ask:
Have you tried in a private window to see if it works?
If you create a test profile (Hamburger Menu → More Tools → Add New Profile) does it also happen there? Make sure you don’t add extensions or change settings on this test profile.
@mikecuong Good to hear it worked on test profile. This does help narrow things down a bit. Did it work in private window? The reason for asking is each shows different things.
If it works in Private then it tells us issue is cookies or extensions. If we assume you removed or disabled all extensions and still had problems, then would mean you may have to clear all cookies as something is “bad”
If it doesn’t work in private but it works in new profile, then it does say it’s settings or extensions overall.
So the interplay between testing methods helps kind of narrow things down a bit.
