See links below for support notice on this issue. A fix for this issues was implemented. You should make sure you are updated to the latest version of Brave, currently 1.41.100 for desktops. Not sure what the latest version is on mobile devices.
That being said, Uphold connections are temporarily disabled. Please see the notice below. You should probably track that topic as support staff will probably post an update there.
Since you will not be able to “disconnect then reconnect their Uphold wallet to their Creator account and have it go through (permanently) without any issues”, you may not be able to test the fix. You could try tagging the moderators to see if they have an update or any additional information.
