@OurFreeSociety I have no idea what you’re talking about but if you’re not encountering this issue that OP brought or have suggestions for OP, up please stop replying here.
1) In the Windows Registry Editor, check “Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\BraveSoftware\Brave” for a file/folder termed “ExtensionAllowList” and delete it.
2) Restart Windows and see if it appears in the Windows registry again.
If it doesn’t appear in the Windows registry now then:
1) Go to brave://policy then ensure it is not showing here either
2) Now, let’s ensure Brave allows you to enable Secure DNS
Let’s go re-check RegEdit for same info:
1) Go to Windows Group Policy Editor by searching for “Edit Group Policy”
2) See if there’s a Brave section with the following path:
3) If there is, find the “Configure extension installation allow list” Group Policy setting under [Brave > Extensions] and set it to “Not Configured”. Should resolve this. If the issue persists, then you’d have to find the source of the registry edit addition and remove it
