My BAT got transferred to BravePublisher but I did not make this transaction

I have noticed that 44.75 BAT has been transferred to BravePublisher. But I did not make this transaction. I need help with this.

Hi @showmik, it looks like auto-contribute was enabled on your device on 9/22.

Auto-contribute gave the BAT away to the sites you used most. If you want to keep the generated BAT keep auto-contribute off. A line in the log will have ac.enabled having a value of 0 when it’s off.

Is there any way to request for a reverse of this transaction? I did not intend to happen something like this.

You may have not intended it, but at this time by default auto-contribute is on from the time you turn on rewards. That means by default all earnings go to publishers. There’s no explanation starting rewards, so I think it’s the wrong thing to do as it upsets so many people.

This is not good …having a default set when you join up to the UPHOLD wallet or if you have brave on multiple devices … i lost all my Brave ! …it a s -c- a m
