How do I go about getting my account unflagged. I don’t think I did anything wrong. If I did something wrong how do I correct it and get my rewards reenstated?
@Feistygoat did you create a support ticket? If so, they would review and make a determination. If they have already done so and informed you that your account is flagged and won’t be reinstated, then there is nothing more that can be done as it is a final decision.
If you never created a support ticket, then you would create a Rewards Support Ticket at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001302431
I did create a support ticket and they only said it was flagged and that it will stay in place. I am curious as to why.
@Feistygoat Unfortunately, Brave doesn’t provide specific details on why accounts are flagged. This is common practice for many platforms, especially those dealing with cryptocurrency. In the past, they shared more information, but this often led to arguments or demands for evidence. Additionally, people who were violating the rules used the information to figure out how they were detected and then tried to avoid detection in the future.
Because of this, anti-fraud teams have decided it’s better not to disclose reasons, and they’re not obligated to provide any specific explanations.
Most flagged accounts are due to violations of the Terms of Service, such as using a VPN to watch ads from other countries, automating actions to open windows and navigate, or similar behavior that’s not in line with how Rewards is intended to work
How am I supposed to correct my actions if I don’t know what I am doing wrong. Tell those fuckwads over there to share some info or they are going to have issues with scaling their platform.
You don’t. At this point your account is permanently suspended, meaning you can never earn again. There’s nothing left to learn or change. They are saying after review they are confident you did wrong and likely intended to do so. Otherwise they would have reinstated your account
