More Customization for UI - Especially Custom Scaling of UI

Hey there, allow me to delineate in more detail, as concisely as I can:

For me, brave on desktop takes up too much space in it’s UI elements compared to the browsing area; this is with bookmarks hidden from the top pane along with any other elements I don’t want or need that take up space and also while using a smaller font - my settings result in brave being as minimal as possible, yet still having much too large a footprint for my taste.

I’m on windows, and changing window’s scale settings does not affect the scale of brave for me - where brave seems to be stuck at a ‘125%’ scale compared to the rest of my OS and other browsers I use. Perhaps this is a bug on my part, however, brave also does not seem to have a scale adjustment in it’s settings for manual adjustment - which makes this a feature request foremost, as it would solve two issues with one.

In conclusion, if the overall scale of the browser could be manually adjusted in settings, that would be a very appreciated addition. This to me would include the scale of the side scroll bar, other side bars, individual tab size, and all other elements of the browser such as icons for example.

As an aside it would also be nice to be able to adjust the position of elements such as the back/forward, reload, home, bookmark, the address bar ‘indent’ positioning, and any other hamburger menu placements to whichever side of the browser I’d like, but again that is an aside.

That’s it,
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Exactly right. I posted about the menu being changed a little too.

Yea sound like a great idea to have more customization in the UI

The one in the fire fox would be great. where you can change the entire toolbar which is very good.
