allow brave advertisers to do targeted ads based on personal info that could be collected, maybe pay a premium to brave users who would be willing to opt in, some people actually enjoy relevant ads and are more likely to buy products
That’s called tracking and profiling; Brave’s ads are conceived not to track or profile anyone.
its the users data, why not allow them to decide what to do with it? Targeted based ads are a huge part of the market that are not going away, someone will provide this in the future, so why not Brave? The more control users have over their data will bring in more users and advertisers, I’am not suggesting compromises here, just more choices
