Missing Tab Group option

Description of the issue:
Unlike the phone version, on a tablet there is no option to turn on Group Tabs.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Goto Settings > Appearance
  2. There is no Group Tab option

Expected result:
Have an option to turn Group Tabs on
Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.32.112

There was another similar request open that closed after 30 days of no response. If Brave is providing support via the community boards why are they not responding?

The issue is real and affects other users. I’d expect at least the decency of a response from the Brave support team.

Apologies for the long wait time here.
The tablet version of the browser does not have the Tab Groups feature. This is due to the way Chromium (and subsequently Brave) displays tabs on a tablet device – that is, on the strip at the top.
