I really miss the padlock icon in front of URLs. Is there a way to turn this back on? Is this something that comes from Chrome or is it specific to Brave?
@bpxxa this is something from Chromium. You can see still things but it’s an extra click. So you see 
where the lock used to be. If you click it, then it will show like below:
Part of the main reason for this change is because things tend to be forcibly upgraded to HTTPS by default now. You can read more about this at https://blog.chromium.org/2023/08/towards-https-by-default.html
But then you can also look into Brave’s settings and you’ll see where we can set how strict we want this in our Shields settings. I’m showing you how they are phrased in the global and per site settings below, but they mean the same thing.
