Description of the issue:

I just started a new role at a company that uses Microsoft for everything - Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc. I’m working to get everyone switched to Brave because Edge (what most of them use) is a five-headed gremlin.
Everything works perfectly except one tiny little thing: hyperlinking in SharePoint. I don’t know why this particular thing is coming up, but when you open up a document in SharePoint and attempt to hyperlink, it opens the prompt window to add the link and, after pressing “Insert,” does nothing.
On my work computer, I have two extensions and have not modified default settings. The extensions are:

I don’t believe the extensions are relevant because another coworker who has no extensions has the same problem as me. It is however possible that our work computers are terrible and lame. We are using Windows 11.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Open document in SharePoint, highlight text, press CTR+K, paste link, click insert, sadness
- Open document in SharePoint, highlight text, left click, select insert link, paste link, click insert, sadness
- Bribe the computer with a $20 bill, computer stares coldly back, sadness
Expected result:
The selected text is hyperlinked.
