I’m experiencing an issue where my microphone’s volume is extremely low in Brave (and other Chromium-based browsers), even though it records perfectly in Microsoft Store/UWP apps (Voice Recorder) and in Firefox. Desktop apps like Chrome, Edge and Brave all capture a near-silent signal, while UWP apps use a normal, clear level.
I have completely formatted and reinstalled Windows, installed both the generic Microsoft High Definition Audio driver and the Conexant driver meant for my laptop, verified my system Sound settings are at 100% input level and Boost. I even tried disabling WebRTC flag and nothing works.
