I saw an older query and tried the fixes suggested…
So my metamask extension just won’t work (just ‘spinning’). I’d just opened my Brave wallet for the first time in a while - so I guess it made it the default.
But when I change my settings to not the default and clear my cache and restart (browser and even laptop) it still hasn’t worked.
(I even selected disable Brave wallet using the suggested link for that; and then I even tried Metamask Portfolio in the browser, that didn’t work either.)
I have mac Sonoma 14.1.2
It says my Brave is up to date (v1.63.165).
