Hello everyone.
I suggest the implementation of an option/button that allows us to free up the memory usage of a tab or an entire group of tabs that you have not currently selected to be on display.
The reason for this is because it will be useful for various scenarios. For example, I prefer to use Brave on all systems and some of them are quite old. But I do find it very convenient to use vertical tabs with groups because it helps save tons of tab space while still retaining the links I want to use at a later time or keep there indefinitely.
However, the older systems start to struggle at some point, as if I’m running Chrome. But even on the high end systems, I still want to free up RAM when I need to use a heavy memory app with the browser. (Or if I accidentally cause memory leaks)
So, yeah, it would be really nice if you could add the option for us to manually free up memory from currently unused tabs. You can put it anywhere on the context menus:
