Mailto in Widows 10 does not open Gmail

Description of the issue:
mailto is set to brave in the settings; mailto links never open up Gmail.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Happens every time, with every mailto type linke

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Nothing happens when clicking a link to send an eamil

Expected result:
Gmail would open a new compose window

Reproduces how often:
Every time I try and send an email with a mailto type link

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

Go to brave://settings/handlers and check to ensure this is enabled and that sites are allowed to ask you if you want them to be a default handler. If it’s already on, check to see if the handler icon appears in the address bar when you visit gmail. If so, click it, set gmail to be the default mail handler, and your issue should be resolved

That was totally it @Mattches . The handler icon was in the URL window. I clicked it and am fully functioning.
