Description of the issue:
When Downloading a file and I try to save in a new folder, Brave Crashes.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Download any file but when specifying the location, create a new subfolder to save it in, then try and click save.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
If I reproduce it, I’ll have to start this ticket over again due to the crash.

Expected result:
Browser goes gray, can’t click Quit from the dock Icon. I have to force quit.

Reproduces how often:
Every time so far

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Mac OS Sonoma 14.1.1 (23B81), Brave v1.60.118

I’m having the same issue on OSX 12.7.2

Whenever I try to save a file it just locks up, causing me to force quit. Using Safari and FireFox appears to download just fine.

Edit: I noticed that all my Chromium-based apps were no longer able to save new files. Restarting the computer solved the problem :man_facepalming:
