Brave problems when downloading file or uploading file

Recently, Brave browser makes lots of problems.

I’m working on MacBook Pro, Sonoma 14.3.1 (23D60)
with latest Brave (updated)
Version 1.64.113 Chromium: 123.0.6312.86 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Brave gets stuck when I press a link to download a file, and when I press link to upload a file.

There are no issues when I use Safari browser or Chrome.
I stopped using Brave since this is really annoying.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
