Left click -> open in new tab for multiple search engines

I use multiple search engines. I use each by going to the individuals websites of those search engines. For each search engine that I use, I would like to see the following behavior:
when I left left click on a search result, I would like the result to open in a new tab.

Right now, I think that the brave browser only opens the results in a new tab for the single search engine that is set in “settings.”

you can use the middle mouse button to open any link to new tab
or use extension to open links in new tab

Thank you. Yes, that does work. It’s not an exact solution, though, so I wont mark it as such right now.
