Description of the issue:
For the last few days, I have not been able to login into an Web3 provider using the Metamask extension. Depending on the site, either nothing happens, or the indicators just keeps spinning infinitely (like on OpenSea).
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Have MetaMask installed
- Have the latest version of Brave installed (1.41.96)
- Try logging into gem.xyz, genie.xyz, looksrare.xyz, or opensea.io - none of it works.
Expected result:
The MetaMask sign-in modal pops up.
Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.41.96
Additional Information:
After a few days of this, I changed the Settings>Wallet option from Brave Wallet (prefer extensions) to Brave Wallet just so that I could continue accessing web3 products. I prefer to use MetaMask over Brave Wallet so this is a stop gap for now.
