Ongoing problems with Metamask (yes I disabled Brave Wallet in settings)

Description of the issue:
Whenever I want to use a dapp and select Metamask nothing happens.

Works fine in Chrome and started not working when you shipped Brave Crypto Wallet.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Go to https://synthetix.exchange/

Select Metamask
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Expected result:

Should open a Metamask dialog
Reproduces how often:
All the time
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
