Last site visited not clearing

The cache has always been set to clear when I close Brave. I now find that the last site visited is still in the cache. When I reopen Brave, the last site visited is still there instead of the Brave startup page.

I’m not sure how/if you can replicate the issue. I visit a site, get out of Brave to do something else, go back into Brave and the last site visited is still there.

I have checked and rechecked the settings. All seems okay unless I am missing something.

I have Brave installed on my Google Pixel book and that seems okay. The cache is definitely all cleared because you only get the Brave startup page when you reopen the app.

On the mobile device I have cleared the cache and all data, uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app. The problem is still there. It’s not site specific. The problem is any site.

I know you probably did this already but just checking. If you go here is it set (on Start Up) to continue where you left off? If so, you’d need to change that to new tab page? Sorry if you already did this.

Otherwise go into Brave Settings > Get Started and ‘on Start up’ is at the bottom.
