Lagging Keyboard & Mouse while using the browser?

Hi,

I am using the brave browser on my Macboook Pro and I absolutely love it, so much better than using my previous google browser however since downloading the browser my mouse & keyboard have started to become real laggy.

I have read previous forums looked into my extensions etc and this has not fixed the issue.

I am using…

MacBook Pro
Apple M2 Pro
MacOs: Sonoma 14.4.1

Any help will be greatly appreciated as I do love using this browser, Thank you.

Can you try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings to see if this resolves the issue?

You’ll find this in Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration

I can not find additional settings, is this found in my system settings macbook or the brave settings?

This will be in the browser settings. I also apologize — at some point it appears the setting was changed from Hardware Acceleration to Graphics acceleration:
