Is there any way to configure weekly updates on MacOs?

Hi,

The 1-2 days update frequency of Brave browser is very annoying. I am thinking about to uninstall it because I have to update the browser in every 1-2 days.
Additionally, on Mac I have to type my very-very long password each and every time and the update does not download automatically.
Finally, If I miss some updates it is not capable to install the latest version and it installs versions incrementally. It is pretty annoying.

Is it possible to coinfigure the following things:

  1. Check updates once a week
  2. Download updates automatically (not when I want to update it.)
  3. Ask my biometric identification instead of password
  4. Install the latest version if I miss some updates. (don’t install the versions incrementally)

Thanks for you support.

Huh? I get updates 2x a month…

For me. 2-3 days. :frowning:

You sure it’s the official version? The last 3 releases were on 15th, 24th & 30th August.

Only the nightly version gets updates very frequently

Current one:
Nearly up to date! Relaunch Brave to finish updating.
Version 1.57.53 Chromium: 116.0.5845.114 (Official Build) (arm64)

I do have to admit that August had more updates.

I don’t notice it because as an admin, I often don’t have to give the password for this matter. Are you not an admin?

Sire. I am admin. So I have access on everything
