Go to address bar and type google.com and press tab, now you can type your search query and brave browser will search in the specified URL you typed in the beginning (google.com)
This works for google.com, duckduckgo, bing but not for other websites like quora.com youtube stackoverflow etc…
In chrome it works for everything while in brave it works for limited websites only (most of them are search engines)
That’s really good advice. I myself am not that comp/device literate. Suppose that’s why my information/accounts/ Facebook/messenger gmail accounts. Have gotten hacked. So happy to try this browser. Thought I was. I think someone else was using my account. I just now got signed up.
It works with any website (I myself use this feature) for example Wikipedia, the forum we are writing in (community.brave.com) etc. but you have to add the website to this list brave://settings/searchEngines in “other search engines”. Although the name of the section is “search engines”, you can add any kind of website.
