Is there a way to lock a tab group to a fixed number of urls

Hi all, I would like to know if there is a way to lock Tab Groups in Brave on MacOS.

I have created a tab group and selected the core URLs. However, when on one of these URLs, and i open a new tab, the new tab is opened within the tab group. I do not want this. I want the new tab to be opened outside of the tab group.

I hope this makes sense. Does anyone know if this is possible?
