Incorrect rendering of Brave tabs in Android's split-screen feature

Description of the bug:
When using split screen mode on Android, Brave tabs are displayed incorrectly.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. install Android 12 Build/SKQ1.220406.001 on a Lenovo Tab P12 Pro.
  2. install the Brave browser from the Google PlayStore as version 1.52.130, Chromium 114.0.5735.198.
  3. open any web page in Brave
  4. add any other application via the “SplitScreen” option (see Figure 2)

Expected result:
The Brave tab is fully and correctly displayed on one half of the screen, while the other application is displayed on the other half of the screen.

Actual result:
The Brave tab is minimized and only partially displayed (see Figure 1). The other application is displayed correctly. The error must be specific to the Brave browser, as Firefox, for example, works fine in split-screen mode (see Figure 3).

How often is this reproducible?
Every time Brave is used in splitscreen mode.
