Importing passwords from google chrome

I cannot get brave to grab the passwords off of google chrome on my desktop. I have managed to import all bookmarks but it will not allow me to import the passwords. I’ve tried exporting them as well and tried to upload that file and it will not allow me. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
