I haven't seen an ad yet, after 2 days

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, I’ve set up my Uphold wallet, it’s been verified, and I’ve set my Maximum number of ads displayed to 5 per hour, yet I haven’t seen one yet. I am using uBlock Orgin, but after doing some research it seems that shouldn’t interfere with seeing these ads. Any suggestions?

If you are unable to or have stopped seeing Brave Ads, please read through the following posts first to ensure that basic troubleshooting steps are checked:

After reading the above, if you’re still having trouble viewing ads, please answer the following:

Are you able to receive general desktop/push notifications?

Looks like I had notifications disabled for Brave, I enabled it, so we’ll see what happens. Thanks!

Well, it’s been about 3 hours, and still no luck. I’ve gone through the guides supplied and everything looks right on my end, so I’m not sure what to do at this point. Here’s my OS/Brave version:

Windows 10

Brave is up to date
[Version 1.23.48 Chromium: 89.0.4389.90 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)]

I have been having this issue for a while on PC too. My mobile browser gets ads no problem, but my PC just isn’t cooperating. I already did some troubleshooting steps. Brave Rewards are on, I checked Windows Notification settings and everything is on.

I just tested with the push notification checking website and it keeps giving errors when triggering the notification.

If I use this website, I get a desktop notification no problem…
https://lab.html5test.com/notification/

Just tried that site as well (https://lab.html5test.com/notification/) and it worked fine for me also.

So I finally got some ads tonight, yay! Only problem is even after clicking on them I’m not getting credit, but it looks like it’s not just me as I’ve seen a couple threads about that as well.

You don’t have to click the ads to get BAT credit. As for the issue of seeing ads but not receiving BAT, I’ll have to defer to @Mattches or @steeven.

I have the same problem

Check focus assist in Display settings if you are on windows 10 - that fixed it for me

@Dan33185,
You do not have to click on ads to get credit for them. Further, when an ad is viewed/served, you should see your Estimated earnings for the month ( Settings --> Brave Rewards --> Ads) increase – not the amount in your wallet (ie in the Rewards panel).
