Under brave://components exists Widevine Content Decryption Module - Version: 4.10.2209.0
I tried delete the folder C:\Users[user]\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\WidevineCdm , but it keeps coming back every time I restart brave.
I’m baffled brave is okay with uninstallable software that literally reinstalls itself every time the browser is started, lol.
that software is needed for things like netflix, prime video, etc. to be able to play… Assuming you have no need for media playback of these DRM media, does ticking off widevine in Settings change that… ie. you have it on so brave makes sure it doesn’t delete…
