How to deactivate idle detection

**Description of the issue: Idle tabs dont work as intended
open tab, open another one, first one doesnt work correct

  1. i play an incremental game and every time i’m active in another tab (as intended for that kind of game) the progress stops. So i assume its a kind of idle detection. Twitch also lowers resolution, when not active. In the case of, i’m fine with it.
i looked up idle detection and years ago there was an setting, but now i can’find anything.
    Any ideas ?
Sure the game should not behave like this, but because other sites use that kind of functionality too, i hope that there is an accesible setting to turn it of.

thanks

@blablablupp try going to brave://settings/system and you can either toggle the Memory Saver option “off” to stop tabs from going inactive or, you can add the affected site(s) to the exceptions listed (where it says Always keep these sites active):

Thanks for the answer, but it is already turned off. But still sites seem to know if they’re active.
I’ll try turning it on and set excepions. Makes no sense to, but wouldn’t be the first thing, which works although it seems wrong
