How to apply the new, dark theme to brave skin

I just read about the brave upgrade and the new stuff but how do i apply the dark theme?

Hi @stvo67,

Please go to Settings > Appearance > Brave color. There you’ll find the dark theme.

I don’t have an “Appearance” under my settings. Am I missing something? I have updated to the latest version of Brave. Thanks.

Which version that you have (from Menu > About Brave)?

Dark theme is available now for 0.56.x ++ users. Current 0.25.x users is not yet upgraded to the new Brave. https://brave.com/new-brave-browser-release-available-for-general-download/

If you want to install it manually, you can grab the copy from brave.com/download

No need to uninstall the current Brave because you can run it in parallel. Then you can import your browser data from previous Brave.
