I want to use my own background image.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Brave browser has built-in background images.

Expected result:
My own choice of background images in Brave Browser.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.27.111 Chromium: 92.0.4515.131 (Official Build) (64-bit)

You can’t as of the moment, but it’s a work in progress so hopefully will be able to soon.
