Hi, I have the new version of Brave. Its awesome! The only thing missing is a button to “Check for Updates”. Am I missing something?
Right here: brave://settings/help 
It’s accessible via “About Brave” in the Brave menu on the right.
Thanks! Very helpful…Now I know! But I gotta say…thats the most unintuitive place for it to be placed. I suggest the Brave developers should re think that one. I am familiar with that menu of course, but I would have never guessed the update now button would be under “About Brave”.

If there’s a new update available, you should see a green arrow pointing up appear on top of the menu button: 
Clicking that will display the option to update at the top of the main menu.
